Milo & Cherie Mannino were born and raised in New Orleans, in Metairie and the Lower 9th Ward. By their early 20s, each was part of the subculture of New Orleans musicians, working regularly on their own and others’ recording projects and local shows. After 5 years in Nashville and Los Angeles, respectively, Milo and Cherie moved back to New Orleans, met, and joined forces in 1992. Their music careers include live performances spanning coast to coast and abroad. Back home in New Orleans, they played the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, French Quarter Festival, Snug Harbor, House of Blues, ...
Despite having deep roots in New Orleans, Milo and Cherie moved their family to Ohio in 2006, following Hurricane Katrina. They are ever grateful for the warm welcome from Columbus musicians, venues, and audiences. Both are delighted to add their own New Orleans flavor to the vibrant music scene in Columbus.
Look for Milo and Cherie around town playing with various groups, including The Ramblers, Cap City Swing, North Columbus Big Band, Shouting' Sisters, and Vaughn Wiester’s Famous Jazz Orchestra.
